Viva Costa Rica!

by Kimberly Morton - November 9, 2011

Today, November 9, 2011, Maralea Miller told the travel class that the school board approved us going to Costa Rica! When Adriana, Aaron, Cayenne, Daniel, Nicole and I first started travel class last year they told us that we couldn't go out of the country anymore, (the class before us went to New Zealand), we were all pretty sad. I didn't think it was fair, but life's not fair. But anyways, at the beginning of last year it was tough because no one wanted to be our sponsor and we couldn't go out of the country, it was all just bad for the first couple of months.

Then here came Albert and Maralea Miller to our rescue! We really are so grateful to have such amazing sponsors! They've helped raise A LOT of money to be where we're at today, and it's all thanks to their awesome persuasion that we get to go to the amazing country of Costa Rica! We're not quite done yet but all of the travel class would like to say, Thank You SO Much to Albert and Maralea for everything they've helped us with this past year and a half, also we'd like to say Thank You to the school board (president Mr. Bodie Means, vice president Larry Porras, secretary Maria Carrasco, and members Jackie Means, Chuy Navarrete, Bill Miller, and Bob Carr, Jr) for allowing us to have this amazing experience in Costa Rica!
